Citrix XenApp Application Auto-Start After login
I am looking for a solution to auto-start our IM program ( Microsoft Communicator) when uses login to their citrix session in the morning. Infact this is a 2 part question.
Part 1 is for PNAgent
We have a citrix XenApp 4.5 farm. All the users use XP dekstops. PNAgent is installed on the desktop. Configured for pass-through and they get shortcuts to their apps on their desktops. Users don't shut down the desktops at night. Most times, they leave it running and some of them leave some apps running too. I am looking for a way to auto-start the IM application that is also published in the morning. I have added a shortcut to the app in ALL Users Startup folder on each machine but that only works if the users log off and log back ON or if they reboot. is there a better way?
Part 2 is for Web Interface Access
Some users come in via our web interface from home or remote offices. I am looking for a way to have this app open when they login from the web interface too.
Another idea i was thinking was to somehow have this app attached to Outlook. So when they open outlook, it should open this too. Everyone opens outlook in the morning anyway.
