Migrating servers in windows server 2003.
I have a single server setup running Windows Server 2003. It is very old and I just purchased a completely new server and new OS. It is still Windows Server 2003 on the new one, but it's all new licensing and a fresh install. I really need help from someone that can either give me an outline process for migrating the AD and all server roles from the old machine to the new one. Both OS's are the same, and I don't want to add or subtract anything from the network. I'd just like to get the new machine in there and make the old one possibly a backup domain controller if anything. Any help would be VERY appreciated. My knowledge of server 2003 is fairly strong, I just haven't ever done a migration before. Thanks guys and gals!!!

Well, Ideally I would like to get rid of the other machine completely and make this new one the sole server on the network. I basically want to transfer everything from the old one to the new one.

Install Windows Server 2003, and run DC Promo on it. That will take care of the AD, you will want to move all the roles to it, you can, or split them out between the two servers.
What other services or roles do you have in mind of moving to it?
