How do you update the "activeX" in IE Manage Add-ons ?

I don't see any "update" options in the Manage Add-ons window. All I can do is Enable, disable or delete.

This is in relation to a previous question "SSL Network Extender Service is down and could not be started" that was answered with a vague fix. Can you elaborate?

Goto C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files
right click each of the components there an select "update".

Some of the plugins are installed by a software package, ie Adobe Reader. For such programs, you have to update the whole package.
