Installing and Running TFTP on Windows Server 2003 SP2 to network boot

For the sole purpose of being able to network book, I am trying to install TFTP on a Windows Server with SP2 which is housing my brand new Ghost imaging server. From what I have read, this is what I need to do to make this happen. If there's another way to allow for the ability to network boot, I'm all ears. I have found some info on this but none was overly helpful. I know there are 3rd party tools, but I would highly prefer to stick with MS on this if possible. Any help is much appreciated.

The tfpd.exe file is no longer installed or available by default, but is still included on the CD for the Windows Server 2003.

Insert the CD and browse to the I386 folder, there is a tftpd.ex_ file there which you will need to expand. Use the following commands:

    expand tftpd.ex_ %windir%\system32\tftpd.exe
    instsrv tftpd %windir%\system32\tftpd.exe
    reg add hklm\system\currentcontrolset\services\tftpd\Parameters
    reg add hklm\system\currentcontrolset\services\tftpd\Parameters /v Directory /t REG_SZ /d c:\tftproot
    md c:\tftproot
    net start tftpd

This will install the tftp server as a service onto your machine. It will use c:\tftproot as the root for all file transfers.

You may of course need to modify any firewall confiruations to allow traffic on the appropriate port(UDP 69)

thanks for your post, but i need some further help filling in the gaps as I am not an expert. "instsrv" is yielding a response of "not a recognized...command...".
