So its safe to say if it throws errors when running these tests that the drives are no good and therefor useless. Is there anyway of fixing this or should i consider it a loss.<br />

if the software doe not repair it, consider it lost.<br />
you can always run a chkdsk over it, for more info..

I have a bunch of flash drives i got from china and they don't seem to be holding data. Im not sure why, but i would at least find out if they are usable. I have tried to format from my machine, but formatting NTFS failed. What are some tools available to test the quality of the drive. I don't want to lose any info i have to store on the device.<br />

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated as always.<br />
