can you please take a screenshot of the Font issue and post it here please?
This is the 2nd Font issue in the last 2 months.
So please present a Screenshot so we can see it.

I can't take a screen shot because I can't navigate my way around the computer. I can't even log in because I don't remember what the prompts etc. are & I can't work it out ('cos I can't read anything).
Thanks for the offer & for trying!

Is this a Laptop (or) Desktop?
If it is a desktop, do you have an Extra Video Card lying around?
If so, then install it and see if your Fonts come back properly?
(Suggestion that maybe the video drivers could be bad)

If not the video drivers.
Then if you have your win2k cd handy, you can do a Repair/Install on the system.

Boot from the win2k CD.
Choose [R]epair to repair the currently installed win2k.
And see if that will get it done?

Those are the only 2 options that I can think of.
The Repair is the quickest route if you do not have an extra Video Card lying around.
If it is the OS that is causing the Fonts to go bad, then the [R]epair will correct it for you.
(Hopefully).

Good Luck
