MIgrate SQL Server 2005 to Oracle 10g

What are the steps to convert SQL Server 2005 database to Oracle 10G database.

I am not able to connect SQL Server 2000 database to SQL Developer.

Snapshots attached.

Is it because of SQL Server 2000, version 2005 is mandatory?

Please review the setting and let me know if there is something missing.
