backup & recovery software

how can i get hp backup and recovery software to create recovery disks
2 Solutions
Hi techp,

Here's a idea to try, you can use something like Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image, what you would have to do is install a fresh copy of XP or Vista which ever OS your using and install all the software you want and create a backup image of your computer. You can also try to contact HP and see if they can send you the recovery disks.
Free Tool: ZipGrep

ZipGrep is a utility that can list and search zip (.war, .ear, .jar, etc) archives for text patterns, without the need to extract the archive's contents.

This seems to be the HP software download page for that software.  Is that what you are looking for?
Windows restore is not dependable; PC manufacturer's recovery function will only return your PC to the factory state, which means you will lose all the tweaks and application you installed. That is why I highly recommend a disc imaging software, such as Acronis True Image or Norton Ghost.  Here is a good review article:,2817,2259200,00.asp
