Perfect folder structure for a small I.T support department

I'm after an example of a folder structure for an I.T support departments apps/documentation/drivers etc.
one that is proven/works well/well utilised and maintained by all who access it. preferably one that has been tried and tested in multiple types of business, even if its your personal structure that you use yourself within your organisation and works really well.
for example:
software>network scanners
               >drivers
Documentation>license keys
                       >incident reports
                       >network diagrams
etc
etc
etc
must be simple and expandable. for example a new support officer could look at it and navigate easily

Here is the structure that we use and it works great. I'm not sure there is truly a "perfect" format. Sometimes the more complex the folder structer the easier it is to organize, which can be easily memorized. It took me a while to find one that our entire department enjoys.

@alienvoice: question was asked but answer was not suitable to my environment
@ValleyENT: I really like your solution
but does anybody have any other arrangements/input/alterations/additions that they find that their entire team uses religiously?
