SBcore SBS shutsdown

Hi There,

We hace a SBS server by a customer wich is Running SBS. The problem is that the server shuts itself down with related event log in de event viewer that the server sees another server and going to shutdown. We tried everything and searched everything but we cannot solve it. All the FSMO rules are on that server so that shouldnt be the problem. We also cannot find another server in the network , or a other device that says it some kind of server.

We also changed some dns settings so that the ipadres of the dns server is not 127 but the real ip. The problem went away for a couple of weeks but now its back.

Could it be that a workstation is messing some things up? And does i cause any problems to disable the SBcore service on a running SBS server with exchange and ad?

Regards,
Perry

Hi There,

We already run that tool and solved all the issues that it find.
Only 1 problem left is that the server sees 3 nic's. 1 of them is a "virtual nic" from Panda antispam application. We are going to remove the panda software today because it give a problem with IIS admin service ... But I dont know if the Panda software with his nic could cause the server to see another server and shuts himself down.

Thx
