Is there any way I can produce a report on Exchange mailboxes that will list all the mails that have  attachments with size and types of attachments e.g. JPG per mailbox?

None that I used and am aware of would give you a report like this in Exchange 2003 or 2000.

These are long lists of tools for Exchange the majority of which at first glance are not related to the question at hand. Do you know for certain/experience of any programs that specifically do what I'm asking?

Hi,
Like I said, None that I am aware of, in my experience with Exchange 2000/2003.
I gave the links, so thatr you can contact the respective vendors (listed) and confirm with them. This is the best bet, otherwise, I would say No :-) !
Cheers
