Question about event view error

We get this error in event viewer "replication of license information failed because the licensing logging service on server \\server could not be contacted" The \\server listed is a DC but not a licensing server and the licensing service is not even turned on that server. What should I do to fix this? Why would the server giving the error give this message?
Thanks

You may want to verify if the service is running.

Thanks Americom, I dont manage the other server that is getting the error. The DC it is pointing to does not having the licensing on it. I am running Windows 2003 server. Is this error mean the server is looking for the CA server? If so we need to point it to the correct server...correct?

I believe the error is a very common one and quite often we just disabled the services to eliminate the error. If you do a search on this site, you may find many other reported the same message and suggestions are pretty much the same.
