Crystal Server XI Error:  Thread was being aborted

I have a report that I am assuming is timing out because it takes a very long time to read the records and return the report.  The report gives me the error:  Error:  Thread was being aborted.  I found a PDF document from Business Objects that references a knowledge base article c2018550 that is supposed to provide a resolution.  The hyperlink takes you to SAP and a very convoluted website where I found no references to this article.  So I am stuck.  Can someone help me with this error or point me to a BETTER solution that SAP's website?

The Crystal Notes search seems to be down right now.  Here is the link
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/boc/notes

Search for the article number

I searched in other ways and got this article but it also refers to that link and it goes to the same SAP page
