(Adobe) Contribute: Error: You can't edit this page because you're already editing it on another computer

My client & I have tried many recommended fixes, of course including deleting the .lck file.

When she tries to edit a file, it gives her the above error (and creates a .lck file on the server).
We keep deleting the .lck file and other things, but no luck.

Any suggestions?  There are posts a year old about CS3 Contribute and this problem, but nothing that we can find that is recent (nor a solution from last year's cluster of reports)

Hi willsherwood,

You need to remove Contribute completely from the web site and that is best done by deleting the _mm folder from the remote site public root.  Then delete all .lck files and start over redefining Contribute.

Worked.  Contribute is indeed strange.  Gets a knot in its shorts too frequently

Yes, to the point where we are phasing it out from the organization.
