Hi  I have multiple server groups in the Symantec System Console. I used the reset tool to reset the first group but unable to reset the second groups password. It looks like the previous adm used separate passwords for each group. Any idea of how to reset the second one? Thanks

Symantec Antivirus version 10 has both a login name and password. This can be reset by using the iforgot.exe program that is located under the Program Files\Symantec\Symantec System Center\Tools folder. You will need to know the login name for the iforgot.exe program to reset the password.

yea I used the iforgot utility and unlocked the primary server group. It doesn't work the secondary server groups. That's where I'm having the problem. I don't know how to unlock the secondary server groups.

I found the solution. Come to find out that the groups were managed on different servers. I just had to find out which server it was. Once I found it I used the reset tool like I did for the first group on that server and it opened up. Hope this helps someone.
