how do you use Reporting Services , Office  Writer and  Sql 2005 server to create reports.

expert: I am new to reporting services, office writer and RDL files? and need a tutorial or information how these suite tools including  VS2008  are used to create reports?

I have also purchased the book Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services (Brian Larson). I also have the 2005 book. I can recommend these as easy to follow, step by step learning tools.
