MS internet Explorer 8 - Openoffice shows incorrect

Problems with Calc and Writer plugin/addon in Microsoft Internet Explorer 8
1) A calc dokument opened in IE8 opens in IE8 but does not show the top 5,6,7 rows or Menu bar.
2) A writer document opened in IE8 does not open in the addon (so_activex), but IE8 tries to open the document as an ZIP file.

Are there solutions or suggestions to solve the problems?

This might sound like a facetious answer. To be honest I wouldn't be using this combination of applications full stop. Why not use Firefox rather than IE any version?

Yes, I know there are alternatives, but due to company demands it must be IE and OOo.

From what I can see from the graphic you posted, it seems that there might be a miscalculation between the position of Row 1 of the Spreadsheet and the top of the enclosing panel. What happens if you set Calc so that in View, none of the Toolbars, Menubars is displayed? In other words, if you get rid of all those toolbars etc., does the Spreadsheet display correctly?

Which did you install first, IE8 or OOO? If the answer is OOO, try uninstalling it, and then reinstalling it to refresh the associated registry keys.

In full screen (F11) I still have the same view in CALC. Missing top of document.
Installation history was IE 7 -> OOo2x -> OOo 3.0.0 -> OOo 3.0.1 -> IE8.
I will try uninstall OOO + restart + registry ccleaner and delete OOo folders + restart + install OOo301 + restart
Are there also some comments to 1) ???

OK, I will not use Registry ccleaner. But manually delete OOo files and registry entries.

I now tired to reinstall OOO301 and even tested on Windows7RC1. Still the same problems. No change.

Problem 2) Solved! A writer document opened in IE8 does not open in the addon (so_activex), but IE8 tries to open the document as an ZIP file.
The solution was to add mime type definition file called .htaccess on the webserver
