Delete unnecessary shortcut directory in WISE 7 Package Studio
Hi experts!
Im using Wise Package Studio 7.0 SP3 to create install program of my NET Windows Form application. And have follow question:
When create shortcut in Wise I change twice time directory in Start Programs and now create 3 directory, 2 empty and one with my shortcuts. Question is how to delete these 3 directory, where is this future in WISE ? On interface have only New Directory Button, I need to remove this empty directory because they are in Start Programs list and is ugly..
I think that with Wise I have access to tables in MSI, probably is possible to delete from this tables ? But in which table and which record to delete?

Yes, I delete all shortcut from prevois directory, but directory is not delete and is create in install on target computer in the start menu. I do not delete it manual, because I do not know how to do this. This is my question in fact.
This directory is not seen in place where I put files, beacause this is directory for shortcut, not for files.
I do not think that this is wrong action of WISE, I delete shortcutbut but directorys are diffrent operation. I simple need way to delete this directory.
In my tables I do not have FOLDERS table. Where to go ?

Yes .. i delete row from Directory table and install on new computer and now is OK ! Thanks !
If so, there are a few places you can delete them, first, I'd check under FILES in the left pane. If you can't get rid of them there, go to your tables, find FOLDERS, and delete them from there. Backup your WSI first so that if you break something you can restore.
