Microsoft 2008

dear i have exchange 2003 installed on windows server 2003 and now i have got new server where i want to install windows server 2008 and exchange 2007 so please i need to know is it passable to get the mail boxs from the old server to the new one and how to do it and is there any spacifc settings i need to do please advise.

Make sure that the server hardware, windows 2008 are 64 bit ones.

You need to prepare the schema in order to accept an exchange 2007 box, then move the mailboxes to the new server. If you use public folders, configure replication and wait for exchange to copy all the data to the new server. Once everything is in place, remove the exchange 2003 box.
