Hi Guys

Does any body know of a global keyboard hook dll, or class, that will work with visual basic 6, preferably one written in C++, that I can call in my VB6 project

If this is the vbAccellerator one, can some body please tell me how to use it, preferably with some code examples.

Many thanks in advance.

You can use a low level keyboard hook (WH_KEYBOARD_LL) directly withing a VB6 app without a DLL...

Hi Guys,

I spent a lot of time writing code for keyboard hooks, and this is not without its problems,

The easiest, and best thing I have come across is to use an Active X written by Mabry Software (Dan Appleman etc),

DWSHK.OCX (Keyboard Hooks)
Desaware Inc.  SpyWorks.

Windows hooking is not something that I would suggest that you keep reoinventing the wheel with.
