Hi,

I have a detailsview in insert mode.
Is there a way to access those controls (textbox, dropdownlist,) in detailsView?

Am I supposed to use FindControl with control IDs?
Thanks.

Yes, you need to use FindControl from within any of the row events of the Insert Row. You can find these row events from the dropdown list of the GridView and you can find the current row from the e.Row object in the event.
