Search a select box

Hi to all,

I am using Visual Studio 2008, VB.Net. I also have the JQuery Library in my web application.

I was wondering if it is possible to make my select box editable. By that I mean: when the user types in P then only the words that start with a P is being displayed and so on.

Would this at all be possible, and if yes.. How?

Thanks

I am not very experienced with jQuery, but after searching around on the web, here's a tutorial that explains how to do it:http://www.marcofolio.net/webdesign/a_fancy_apple.com-style_search_suggestion.html.  It uses PHP, but it looks failry straight forward, so it shouldn't be too bad converting it to .NET.

If you have difficulty reading and converting the PHP, you might want to ask a new question in the PHP zone for assistance converting the PHP to .NET
