Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.4.. uses cannot get pop3 email
I have a installation started, rolled out to one client (Vista/ Outlook 2007) she is using a POP3 internet email account, but as soon as the Internet mail protection is enabled it block all incoming e-mail.
I have gotten it turned off and it works, everything else is on (default).. clients get the full suite of intrusion protection, nad network threat + AV.
How can I get AV protection on the e-mail without completely blocking getting mail?

I know this doesn't directly answer your question, but assuming you are using MS Exchange in your environment, you could configure it to use POP3 to retrieve the e-mail and send it to their domain e-mail account. Thereby removing the need for POP3 on their desktop. This would also allow them to see all their e-mail with OWA, even if their computer is off.
