VWIC 2MFT-E1 is not working on 3825 platform

I have a c3825 platform installed in it VWIC 2MFT-E1 with ADVANED ENTERPRISE feature set IOS but unfortunatly the controller command is not available and the E1 is not showing in the running config , also the LEDs are not eluminated. However, the card is showing in the show version command.

That card is supported in the 3825 alright - from memory i think you have to use the card type command to tell the router its and E1 rather than a T1?

card type t1

I don't have access to one to try this now but I am almost sure thats it

Good job nodisco....
it solved the problem....I had to get the rest of the configuration from www.cisco.com, our IOS was current but thank you harbor...that was our second guess.
