access denied for reporting server 2008

hi i am new to reporting services and i tried to set up a report server for testing. and i ve always got access denied msgs
can anyone help me on this? thanks

SSRS Secruity is handled in its own configuration.   I have just finished writing up a quick description of how to assign user permissions, see if it helps you.

That looks like you are not an administator and only have Browser Access.  That is what the home screen looks like to a general user when first set up with no reports.  Can you connect as an administrator account?

hi cgl I believe i am using the admin account since i am the only user for my laptop do u have any suggestions?

and i setup service account using domain\account user. i think it should be fine?

i fixed it by turning off the uac in vista think uac blocked access
