Microsoft Hierarchical FlexGrid (MSHFlexGrid) and Microsoft FlexGrid (MSFlexGrid) controls not found

Hi,

The project has designed on another machine which had used MSFlexGrid. When I copied that project on my machine it says "object or class does not support the set of events". When I debug the code I found the MSFlexGrid is  the source of problem. I read http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa241752(VS.60).aspx and it says "Goto->Project->Components" to find MSFlexGrid but I cann;t see it has been installed on my machine.

Could any one please tell me where the dll file will be so that I can browse it or Do I need to install it?

Thanks,

If I am not mistaken, MSFlexGrid was part of VB5 (but could be used in VB6) while MSHFlexGrid was part of VB6.

do you have both VB5 and VB6 properly installed on your PC?

Have you changed the threading model of your project?

can you create a brand new project and try adding the component?
