Paypal Buy Now return URL Query strings

Hello,

I am trying to integrate PayPal Buy now into my web site.

The url I am passing to PayPal is:
https://www.paypal.com/xclick/business=joeblogs@hotmail.com&item_name=Photograph: Rhossili Bay - Wreck of Helvetica and Worms head in distance - 2nd March 2003 - dfddf - By Thomas Mutton&item_number=49&amount=10.00&currency_code=GBP&quantity=1&shipping=1.56&cancel_return=http://www.website.com/photo/195/rhossili-bay-wreck-of-helvetica-and-worms-head-in-distance-2nd-march-2003.aspx&return=http://www.website.com/logpaypalsale.aspx?type=1&pfsoid=18&qty=1

But the problem with the above is the last bit:
return=http://www.website.com/logpaypalsale.aspx?type=1&pfsoid=18&qty=1

I am wanting to pass query string variables in the return but this simply won't work.

I am wondering if there is any way I can pass these extra query string variables with the return url?

You need to escape ? (%3F) and & (%26). It will work:

Try this:

https://www.paypal.com/xclick/business=joeblogs@hotmail.com&item_name=Photograph: Rhossili Bay - Wreck of Helvetica and Worms head in distance - 2nd March 2003 - dfddf - By Thomas Mutton&item_number=49&amount=10.00&currency_code=GBP&quantity=1&shipping=1.56&cancel_return=http://www.website.com/photo/195/rhossili-bay-wreck-of-helvetica-and-worms-head-in-distance-2nd-march-2003.aspx&return=http://www.website.com/logpaypalsale.aspx%3Ftype=1%26pfsoid=18%26qty=1
