Lotus Notes address book index problem

I just updated my Lotus Notes client from version 6.0 to 6.5.6. Prior to the update when I would click on a letter in the address book it would take me to the first Business with that letter, but now it takes me to the first Name (person). Normally I know the name of the business I am looking for but I don't always know the person's name. I re-sequenced the columns so that Business is the first column, but that makes no difference.

How can I make it function as it did before the update?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Not sure how to fix this issue, but you can create a private view sorted by whatever you want, and use that to jump by letter.
I hope this helps !

I created a new view sorted by business. When I open the view and then click on a letter the display reverts to the original view.

Don't click on the letters, in the view, simply type the first letter and it should jump to it in the same view.

I hope this helps !

That seems to work -- but I don't need a custom view to make that happen -- it works on the original view as well. So why don't the letter buttons work?
