HP 7900 PCI devices not installing properly

After installing a fresh new XP Pro on my HP7900 small form factor pc there are 2 devices in the device manager with a question mark. PCI Serial Port and PCI Simple Communications Controller. I think I downloaded all necessary drivers from the HP site including the chipset driver and the LSI (Agere) Systems Soft Modem Driver. Also updated the BIOS, but with no result. Any ideas?

Found them in a zip file on one of the instal; disks.
