I have a compaq sr2030nx and cannot locate the driver for the "unknown device".  I've downloaded & installed all the original drivers from the hp website for the sr2030nx, and tried running the hardware update wizard, but it couldn't locate it either.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

No...everything is working, and there is nothing that is installed or connected that is non oem.  Am I to assume that as long as it doesn't cause a problem, that the driver doesn't necessarily need to be installed?  I know that is an odd question, but attempting to resolve this issue is starting to become a real pain in my arse!

yeah it's hard tell what the "unknown device" is if you've install all the recommended drivers from their website...

"if it ain't broke don't fix it"

it's prob. for the motherboard.. I.E.. serial port or parallel port.. something you prob. will never use anyways
