I atempted to create a simple web page in Visual studio 2008.
When I attempt to run it ina  brower, i get a message WebDev.webserver.exe has stopped working
The next message says unable to connect to asp.net develoment server.

Any suggestions.
It basically makes VS 2008 un-usable
Thank you

I assume you have tried shutting down the cassini server running in the tray and also tried a reboot?

You might also try deleting all of the files in this folder: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WebsiteCache
