how to track text messages on exchange 2003 with POP3 service

I'm using a ticketing software that allows users to be notified by email, and Text. the email option is working fine, but unable to determine the texting issue. I currently have whitelisted my phone address for the texting, it shows that the message is by passing the filters. I am receiving the email message but unable to trace the text message. Has anyone encountered this before?

I'd be looking at the config for the ticketing software as Exchange does not possess native support for text messaging
