When I start MS Exchange Information Store the server locks up

Server runs OK until I start Exchange Information Store then the whole thing stops responding. Any ideas?
1 Solution
The Microsoft Exchange Information Store may stop responding on a Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server computer or a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 computer that uses multiple processors.

Note This problem has only been reported on computers that have several processors, typically around eight processors. This problem has also been reported on computers that use four Intel processors that use Hyper-Threading Technology.
