Just some background to get started.
We had a Live Communications Server in our domain.  I deactivated it and then ran the uninstall.  I think there are still some remains of that install in my AD.
So I am trying to install OCS 2007 R2 and on a 64bit Windows 2007 server.  This server is a VM.  I have gotten to the step where I start the services and the Montering Agent wont start.  What do I do to fix this?  Also, I cannot add users to OCS in ADUC.  The options just arent there.  Any help will be greatly appreciatted.

What is the error message for the monitoring agent?  It may have to do missing prerequisite for the Monitoring Server role.

Here is the error I am getting.  It is not very descriptive.

Failure
[0xC3EC79E6] Service failed to start as requested.

The problem is, I can't go any further with my installation.  I still can't find the OCS items in my Active Directory, even on the server that I am installing OCS on.
