Did you search for the MigrationTasks file (sorry, I dont remember the exact location, it was under the SBS folder somewhere). And delete the file? If that doesnt work. A call to MS is in order, I spent over a week searching for a solution with NOTHING! MS spent 2 hrs logged into the server and determined the migrationtasks was corrupted. MS did not know why/how it got corrupted, they said possibly an update but did not have an answer. The call was $250, but when a manager called to follow up, I told him, since I didnt get a reason why this happened and it was possibly due to MS updates, he refunded the charge... Worth a shot...

Same thing happened to me.  They took the charge off my credit card after they could not help.  Said it was corrupt and that was all.  Wound up redoing everything a 2nd time.  What a pain.
