I am trying to set the volume of the FLVPlayback component in my FLA

I tried this code which I found online, but it doesn't work..

I am using AS2:

import mx.video.*;

_root.vid1.flv_pb.volume = 0;
_root.vid1.flv_pb._uiMgr._isMuted = true;

trace (_root.vid1.flv_pb.volume);

please try to help..

I think it should be...

import mx.video.*;
flv_pb.volume = 0;
...where flb_pb is the instance of your FLVPlayback component.  Details here.  You might need to add it to the same timeline as your FLVPlayer instance.

There's also a volumeUpdate action for use with sliders and such.

Hope this helps.
