Hello

I need some help to solve the following problem.

Error 8000FFFF - Catastrophic failure

I had an application which one is deployed for .NET 1.1 CF and SqlCe 2.0.
The application runs since several years without any problems.

Now i have tried to Setup this application on a MS Device Emulator Version 1 Standalone Edition with OS Windows Mobile 5 for Presentation and stuff like that. If i run this app on the Emulator it throws from time to time the Error 8000FFFF at this call:
SqlCeDataReader mySqlDataReader = mySqlCommand.ExecuteReader();

It's doesn't matter what kind of sql-statement will be execute, the error throws anyway.
I have also updated the MS Device Emulator from Version 1 to 3. It's still the same.

I guess it could be a SqlCe conection problem on the Device Emulator - Timeout or stuff like that.
The connection will be init that way:
SqlCeConnection sqlConn = new SqlCeConnection(@"Data Source=" + databaseFile);

Any help will be much appreciated
