Intermittent SQL connections to other Servers

Running  SQL 2005 Server on WIndows 2008 Server.

SQL connections intermittently are dropped to other servers causing my McAfee EPO
and Desktop Authority to lose connection to their SQL database.

I get the following errors.
aSSPI handshake failed with error code 0x80090311 while establishing a connection with integrated security; the connection has been closed. [CLIENT: 10.x.x.x]

Login failed for user ''. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection. [CLIENT: 10.233.2.73]

If I  either restart the SQL service, or re-set the SQL authentication it seems to work for another day, then drops the connections. Stumped...

Microsoft provided the answer. The domain was rejoined for the windows 2008 service which fixed the sql service principal name issue causing the authenication issues

C: grade ?-- it is AKA - "Your answer did not help me at all"
in this  case - link that I posted actually said " x80090311 error refers to "No authority could be contacted for authentication" which means the user cannot contact AD to get a ticket"
Or check your AD
