I installed mac osx tiger today and i went to install limewire and it tells me I need to update java so i go to update java and it tells me about i need to upgrade operating system or something i thought i have the updated operating system osx i just bought the mac for college and could it be because of the low video card or what is going on. Thanks

Make sure your version of Tiger is updated to 10.4.11, you can find the update for your specific machine here:
http://support.apple.com/downloads#10.4.11

You will also need the older version of Limewire to run it on Tiger, you can get it here:
http://www.limewire.com/download/oldversion.php
