Check the regional settings still identify the machine as in a &quot;Euro&quot; zone it may have been set back to the default US setup. As you know the Euro is on &quot;Alt Gr+4&quot; or &quot;Windows Key+4&quot; so make sure both of the &quot;Alt-option&quot; keys are working. A friend has an Acer 5920 laptop running Vista Home Premium.<br />

There is a seperate key for the ¬ &nbsp;(Euro) sign but it has stopped working.<br />

I think her son recently removed a lot tof the Bloatware from the machine - I wonder if he also accidentally removed some utility that mapped the keys?<br />

Any ideas please.
