DPM Restore Prevous versions not working after conversion to dynamic disk

I needed to extend our file server storage which was being backed up by DPM. File server was using basic disks and restore previous versions was working fine once I realised that SYSTEM group needed to have access to those folders you wanted previous versions to work for. I had to convert the file server disks to dynamic in order to extend this disk, but since then the restore previous versions isn't working, even after I take a DPM backup. Is this by design or is there something else I need to do?

Seems that when you change the disk layout you need to remove the Protection Group and Create a new one. Oh an it will only work if you protect the Shares as opposed to the volumes. Seems a pain but this fixed the issue.
