Two users cannot maintain a continuous RDP session

I have 2 users that have xp vmware guest sessions running on a Vista 64 bit OS.  In their vmware sessions they connect to different remote sites using Cisco vpn 4.8. Once there, they RDP into systems in there perspective networks. The problem is their RDP sessions are continually disconnecting and reconnecting.  This only happens when they RDP, if they close their RDP session everything is fine.  It seems they are sharing something like a token.  I've checked their ip settings and both are different i.e (ip addresses, vm adapter ip's and lan ip's) With one of the two users, I tested with my machine (vpn and rdp). We saw none of the issues.  The only difference is I'm using my os which is xp.  It may have something to do with vmware. I not sure but any lead in the right direction would be great!

Thanks for any help!
