How to generate thumbnail from .eps and .ai files in .NET?

A potential client is asking if I can generate a thumbnail image from .eps and .ai files. The System.Drawing.Bitmap class is not able to do this. I need a 3rd party library that - ideally - extends GDI+ (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms533798%28VS.85%29.aspx) or WIC (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms737408.aspx, http://stackoverflow.com/questions/455018/extending-the-list-of-supported-image-formats-in-gdi) so that I can continue to use the .NET API. The other idea - and probably more likely - is to use a 3rd party API.

To sum up, what libraries are out there that will let me do this?

As you research this, be aware that AI in versions 10 and later is PDF.  You'll find more libraries that work with PDF than say that they work with AI.

ABCpdf from webSupergoo is capable of creating thumbnail and optimized images from .eps and .ai files. It does not extend GDI+ as I hoped, but I didn't find *anything* that did.
