Cannot obtain printer information error message in ctirx when printing from published apps?

I've got multiple users on a citrix server farm accessing an application, but when they goto print...they error out. They get the "cannot obtain printer information" error message.
They can print fine from their windows OS with any printer, but random users get afflicted with this error message. I recently went in and renamed one of the users profile to *.old and had him login, problem gone. But this can't be the fix, since it keeps coming back to affect later on after a few weeks or months. Any insight on this issue vexing my userbase? I'm looking for research as to what is happening, why, and the fix...if at all possible. I will appreciate any help in this matter.
