is there to open a differencing vhd in virtual server 2005

Is there a way to open a dif.vhd file.  I cant merge it because it is out of sync.  The differencing vhd file has data on it I need.

you should be able to merge the diff disk even if it is out of sync. Are you getting any error while trying merge it back ?

I tried the third time AND IT MERGED
