I need help creating a facebook app.

When button is clicked a feedstory item is posted. The feed item should say:

[Person's full name] started checking out his friends for similarities. He got referred by [Friend's full name that referred]. And I would like to have it pass in an image and display that on the feedstory template.

For example. If person1 adds the application and invites person2, person2 feed item will say:

person2 started checking out his friends for similarities. He got a referral from person1.

What exactly do you need help with?  Do you know where to start or get info on how to develop Facebook apps?  Are you getting a specific error or stuck on a step in your code/app?  This is an app that you are actively developing yourself, right?  Not just one you are asking someone else to make for you?

Did you see and read the tutorial at http://developers.facebook.com/get_started.php?tab=tutorial ?  Any part not clear?  It seems it covers what you asked.
The app code is something you host (I believe).  On Facebook you have to set up the details of your app, including the URLs to parts of it, but the Facebook site mainly just gets info, not the actual code.  At least that is how I understand it.
Let me know how this helps or if you have a question.
