I HAVE DAY-TIME ORGANIZER LOADED ON MY DESKTOP PC -- WIN XP PRO O.S. AND WOULD LIKE TO EXPORT DAY-TIME ORGANIZER DATA TO MY LAPTOP WHICH HAS THE SAME SOFTWARE AS MY PC LOADED. I TRIED TO EXPORT FROM MY PC AND THEN IMPORT TO LAPTOP MY ADDRESS DATA BUT WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL.

What part failed?  The export or the import?

What version of the software do you have?

How did you transfer the file to your laptop?

I don't belive I was able to export the correct data to import.
The day-time organizer software is Sharp Edition.
My o.s. is windows xp pro.
I tried a usb drive and also a cd.

Control application downtime with dependency maps

Visualize the interdependencies between application components better with Applications Manager's automated application discovery and dependency mapping feature. Resolve performance issues faster by quickly isolating problematic components.

Ops, I missed the e-mail that you updated this.

When you exported it, did it actually create a file?  Can you open it up in notepad and see what is in it?

Yes It created a file but wouldn't recognize it when I tried to import. I didn't try to read in notepad.

It has been a LONG time since I used my Sharp organizer, but IIRC there are multiple export formats.  You may want to try one of the other formats.
