This is an open question to all.

I'm a dreamweaver expert and love the GUI because I hate to build the code from the start but love to modify it as you can see from my question history. I like the way Dreamweaver builds the ASP code for you and allows you to do whatever you want.  So my question is: What is out there, like Dreamweaver, that will build the C# basic code for you beside Visual Studio, unless you believe that's the only way to go.

There's got to be other solutions out there that make learning C# and ASP.NET EASY!!!!!!!

I'm a graphic user interface guy and hate being a purist and don't believe NOTEPAD is the only way to code, which, there are still those out here that believe coding everything from notepad is the best way; YECH!!!!!!!!!!!!! OUCH!!!!!!!!!!

The most easiest way to learn anything is to go to its root and same is the case with C#. Books, articles, videos, forums, blogs, etc. and most importantly the practice you would do will make you learn C# for ASP.NET good and fast.

To start with, you can check out the WROX books:

Beginning Book
http://www.wrox.com/WileyCDA/WroxTitle/Beginning-ASP-NET-3-5-In-C-and-VB.productCd-047018759X.html

Professional Book
http://www.wrox.com/WileyCDA/WroxTitle/Professional-ASP-NET-3-5-In-C-and-VB.productCd-0470187573.html

For online resource, your starting point should be ASP.NET Official Site at http://www.asp.net/learn/.

Dreamweaver still supports a lot of stuff for ASP.NET however Visual Web Developer or Visual Studio 2008 is recommended.

Search on Google and you'll find a lot more resources for learning C# and ASP.NET.
