I'm not sure what you mean by "rtrim", though I'm assuming a right-trim, so I'll just explain all three "trim" methods:

Trim() just removes all white spaces from both ends of the string (new lines, tabs, spaces, etc)
TrimStart(params System.Char[]) removes all instances of the specified characters from the "beginning" of the String. For example:
nameOfString.TrimStart('a', 'b', 'c'); // Removes a, b, and c from the start of the String
TrimEnd(params System.Char[]) is the same as TrimStart(params System.Char[]), but works on the other "end" of the String.
