IF the account is deleted from AD, then you should see the mailbox in the disconnected mailbox after running this command in management shell (clean-mailboxdatabase).

If you want to delete the disconnected mailbox the use this command

Remove-Mailbox -Database <Database-Name> -StoreMailboxIdentity <MailboxGuid> -confirm:$false

PS: To get the MailboxGuid use the following command
Get-MailboxStatistics | where-object { $_.DisconnectDate -ne $null } | Select DisplayName,MailboxGuid
